Safina Party opens Narok County office ahead of upcoming by-elections

The Safina Party has today officially opened its Narok County office in Narok Town, marking
a significant step as the party prepares to field its first candidates in the upcoming
nationwide re-elections under the leadership of Party Leader Jimi Wanjigi.
Speaking at the event, Safina Party Secretary General Joakim Simiyu affirmed that the party
is intentional and strategic in its mission to take over government, starting with the
upcoming by-elections and building momentum toward the 2027 General Election.
‘We are tired of this regime. The President has continued to insult Kenyans, even on
international platforms. Corruption, death, detention, and the blatant abuse of constitutional
rights; this is what defines this administration. Look at this health fraud called SHA, and the
fake housing agenda. Why should I pay for a house built with my own money? We can only
change this through the ballot. Let us register, let us vote, and let us take back our country.
Here in Narok, we have a candidate ready to deliver impact and real change, no more being
left behind in development,’ said Mr Simiyu.
The establishment of the Narok County office marks the beginning of a series of
county-level engagements planned for the remainder of the year, as Safina Party accelerates
efforts to build a nationwide grassroots presence.
The Chairman additionally noted, ‘This is just the beginning. We are starting early and being
very deliberate. The economic revolution we are championing is not local, it is national, and
young people are at the heart of this movement.’
Reinforcing this message, Safina deputy youth revolutionary council member Fredrick
Kaunda emphasized the party’s commitment to youth empowerment, education, and
economic justice, stating, ‘We want to see the growth of our young people from as early as
primary school, with free and quality primary and secondary education as one of our core
pillars. We cannot continue to export our talent to countries where our youth are mistreated
or even killed. Our agenda is clear: no payment of odious debt, free primary and secondary
education, universal healthcare for all, introduction of a fair sales tax system, and an end to
domestic borrowing. Safina is the fresh face of bold ideas that this country urgently needs.’
Safina Party is positioning itself as the party of transformation and integrity, with an
immediate focus on the Narok Town, Mbeere North, and Kariobangi constituencies. In
Narok Town, Safina is fielding Opondo ‘Kizito’ Okuparu as its candidate, a bold,
people-centered leader who embodies the spirit of renewal and the change Kenyans are
yearning for.
