Jimi Wanjigi to run for Presidency on a Safina Party Ticket
Presidential Aspirant and businessman Jimi Wanjigi officially joined the Safina Party on March 9th 2022, as a life member and declared his Presidential bid with the Safina party ticket.
Mr. Wanjigi said he chose Safina party because he believes they share the same ideologies that are for the people Kenya. He urged the young aspirants to take control especially young to join the Safina party and run for seats ahead of the March 21 2022 NDC, where he will be unveiled as the party Flag beaver.
“This will be the ark that will carry you to the promised land to the evergreen that Kenya needs.” Said Mr. Wanjigi during his welcoming ceremony.
The party’s National Executive Council (NEC) stated that they had received a “written expression of interest” from Mr Wanjigi to be the party’s presidential flag bearer.
“NEC resolves to propose for ratification by the delegates the name of Jimi Wanjigi to be the party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2022 presidential elections,” said Safina Secretary-General John Wamagata.
Party leader, Paul Muite said they have made a very wise decis犀利士 ion to welcome Jimi Wanjigi to the party and expressed confidence in the Coming August General Election.
Although NEC is encouraging the party leader, Mr Paul Muite and the party’s presidential candidate Jimi Wanjige to engage with other like-minded parties to negotiate an alliance, the party leader showed no interest in a coalition during the welcoming ceremony for Mr. Wanjigi.
“We will stand on our own and no one will force us into pre-election coalitions.” Said the Party leader.
